European Economic Congress 2025 - a forum for the future of the economy and the energy transition
For more than several decades, the European Economic Congress (EEC) has remained a broad, open forum for debate on the future of the Polish and European economy. Each edition is preceded by an intensive consultation process with representatives of business, science and administration – people of high competence and recognized authority. The jointly built program of the Congress responds to the complex challenges of today, and its quality and timeliness are consistently pointed out as the greatest assets of the event – the largest of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe.
The year 2025 is a period of dynamic change and ongoing instability – both geopolitically and economically. The world faces new forms of rivalry, disrupted supply chains, trade tensions and investment uncertainty. This makes the topics of security, resilience and competitiveness of the economy, as well as its energy independence, all the more important.
An important focal point for this year’s Congress is the transformation of the energy sector, which remains one of the pillars of the new green economy. In this context, a special role is played by the development of renewable energy sources (RES), whose importance – both in the context of decarbonization and independence from external sources of raw materials – continues to grow. The Congress is becoming a space not only for the exchange of opinions, but also for building an environment of experts capable of supporting the transformation in practice.
We are proud to announce that among the participants of EEC 2025 were representatives of Green HUB PL, an organization that supports green transformation and competence development in the RES sector : President Tadeusz Męcinski, who for years has been actively involved in transformational processes at the interface of business, technology and energy policy. He will be accompanied by a friendly business partner – an experienced practitioner, co-founder of initiatives supporting innovative investments in renewable energy Abderahmane Alia.
Green HUB PL’s participation in the Congress reflects the growing need to integrate expert and business communities around a common agenda: building a secure, sustainable and competitive energy system in Poland, Europe and the world.
The European Economic Congress is steadily strengthening its position as an international event – attracting a growing number of visitors from outside Europe. The potential of distant markets, new models of economic cooperation and Poland’s growing investment attractiveness make EEC a platform for dialogue between global business, decision-makers and expert circles.
Entrepreneurs, innovators, leaders of change – they remain the heroes of the Congress. In 2025, their voice, especially in the context of the development of the RES sector and the new energy policy, will be prominently featured in the Congress Recommendations – a document that will become a compass for strategic and legislative action in the near future.
